Award-Winning Expertise in Energy Auditing, Emission Reduction, and Environmental Sustainability since 1998.
The Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Program was officially established at the Development Research and Technological Planning Center (DRTPC) in 1998. It was born out of the massive success of a decade-long USAID-funded project (1989-1998), which earned the prestigious title of “Best Energy Conservation Project in the World” in 1995. Today, the program operates as a self-sustaining center of excellence, offering paid, high-level consulting services. It leverages Cairo University’s elite faculty to deliver comprehensive environmental impact assessments, industrial energy audits, and the design of major solid waste management facilities across Egypt.
