The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Program was officially established at the Development Research and Technological Planning Center (DRTPC) in 2003. It was created as a strategic response to the rapidly accelerating demand for advanced digital infrastructure and telecommunications technologies in Egypt and neighboring countries.
